The North Vietnamese Army was the army of North Vietnam. Also known as the NVA, the NVA appears in the first two Rambo movies. They are the overarching antagonists of First Blood and the main antagonists (alongside the Soviet Army) of Rambo: First Blood Part II.
The North Vietnamese People's Navy was notorious for taking old U.S. Navy gunships and commandeering them, using them for their own purposes.
