The Mil Mi-24 Hind is a type of Soviet gunship helicopter that appears in both Rambo: First Blood Part II and Rambo III.

Trivia

• An interesting fact is that the helicopters seen in both films aren't even actual Hinds at all. They are really Aérospatiale Pumas mocked-up to look like the real Soviet gunships. This was a common trick in the 1980s, as when shooting for Rambo III was moved to America, the authentic Soviet weaponry was replaced by mocked-up or fake props.
