Carolco Pictures, Inc. was an American independent motion picture production company, founded in 1976 by Mario Kassar and Andrew G. Vajna, headquartered in Boca Raton, Florida, United States.

Carolco produced First Blood, Rambo: First Blood Part II and Rambo III. First Blood was distributed by Orion Pictures and Rambo: First Blood Part II and Rambo III were distributed by TriStar Pictures. Within a decade, Carolco went from producing such blockbuster successes as Terminator 2: Judgment Day, Total Recall and Basic Instinct to being bankrupted by box office bombs such as Cutthroat Island and Showgirls. The company's trademarks were purchased by another interest who renamed its established company under the Carolco name.
